Get to knw ur wheels a little better

Above wheel is a BBS RS

PCD
This stands for Pitch Circle Diameter
Measured in millimetres the Pcd is simply
ur stud or bolt pattern. Ur new wheels PCD
will have to match ur cars pcd or else u will have to redrill ur car or wheels.

Spigot rings

Usually made in plastic,it helps the centre bore(hole for centre caps) hold the

rim tighter, these rings usually prevent the rims from vibrating.

 

Studs and Bolts

These metal parts are the most important little things to do with wheels
Studs are fixed to the hubs of ur car and are easier to fit rims...
Bolts wind thru the wheel into the hub which is much trickier...

 

2Piece wheels

These are usually made up of a Barrel and centre that can split...

Bolted together, if the barrel gets damaged it can be replaced with

a new one or replaced to your liking

3piece split wheels

Constructed from barrel,centre and outer 3piece wheels offer flexibility

that in careful building can result in the perfect fitment.

Get your measurements right and u will have wheels that poke and tuck

in all the right places without spacers..

Colour
Back in the day i remember only silver but nowadays i have seen all colours
local and abroad...gunmetal black pink blue all slowly becuming common...
Theres spraypainting, powdercoating even can spray for your colour fix.

 If anything i wrote is utter bullshit lemme knw....
